About The Hackathon

INNOHACKS is an annual hackathon organized by Innogeeks at the KIET Group of Institutions, Delhi-NCR, Ghaziabad. It aims at bringing talented young minds together to celebrate their technical passion and build exciting projects! This time we are organising InnoHacks in hybrid mode(both online & offline). The hackathon consists of three phases:

  • Phase 1: Date: 15th April to 6th May 2022(Online Ideation Phase)
  • Phase 2: Date: 7th May to 8th May 2022(Shortlisting of top 30 teams)
  • Phase 3: Date: 15th May to 16th May 2022(24 hours offline Hackathon)
  • Team Size: 2 to 4 members

Event Schedule

April 15 - May 6 Register

The registration would be simply done by just clicking the register button here and filling up the required details on the Dare2Compete platform. Registrations end on 6th May, 2022

April 15 - May 6 Ideation

Teams would submit their ideas based on the given themes. The submissions would include PPT and Illustrative video of their idea.

May 7 - May 8 Shortlisting

Shortlisting results would be declared on 8th May 2022 and top 30 teams will be selected based on their idea sunmission phase.

May 15 - May 16 Offline Hackathon

Teams will build and present their prototype to InnoHacks Jury and there will be two rounds of evaluation based on which the final results will be declared.

Who can participate?

The hackathon is open for Students from all over India. It is the right place for anyone who's interested in learning and innovating with their ideas.Please note that the teams should be from the same educational institution.

How much will it cost?

The participation for InnoHacks 2022 will be absolutely free of cost. There will be no participation fee.

How can I apply?

The registration would be simply done by just clicking the register button here and filling up a google form in which you would have to mention you and your team details. Registrations end on 6th May 2022

What if I don't know how to code?

No worries, Interest in learning and working with technology is much more important than your current experience level.

What are the prizes to be won?

Can we apply as a team?

Yes! We believe that you’re stronger as a team than apart. You can form teams of 2-4 people. Most teams aim to have a mix of people with both design and development skills.

Can I start working on my hack before the event?

No. In the interest of fairness, students should not be working on their projects before Hackathon begins and we do not allow participants to work on pre-existing projects. However, you can familiarize yourself with all the tools and technologies you intend to use beforehand.

What can I build?

Possibly something that resonates with the theme of the event. It can be a website, software, an applet, or maybe even a piece of hardware. We’d love to see anything that solves a social problem or goes with our agenda.

Will the travel expenses be covered by Innohacks?

Teams will have to bear the travel expenses themselves.We will provide accomodation during the time of the Hackathon.
